This video features a fifth grade lesson designed to support students as they explore dividing a fraction by a whole number (1/2 ÷ 4). Students share different strategies and engage in a classroom discussion that surfaces the importance of decomposing the whole to find the unit. This work is part of a school-wide Lesson Study effort focused on building TTP classroom routines.
