Description

Two videos feature kindergarten lessons designed to support students in efficiently counting numbers by “making tens.” In the first video, students share different ways of counting sticks and the efficiency of “making tens” is surfaced. In the second video, students are asked to compare two numbers, highlighting students’ use of the “making tens” strategy to solve the problem. This work is part of a school-wide Lesson Study effort focused on building TTP classroom routines.
