Description

This video features a fifth grade lesson designed to support students as they explore subtracting fractions with unlike denominators (2/3 – 1/2). Students share different strategies and engage in a classroom discussion that surfaces the importance of using common denominators to find equivalent fractions. This work is part of a school-wide Lesson Study effort focused on building TTP classroom routines.
