Description

This video features a kindergarten lesson designed to support students as they compose and decompose a single digit number (7) using semi-concrete objects, such as counters and counting blocks. Students share different strategies and engage in a classroom discussion, surfacing that numbers can be viewed in multiple ways. This work is part of a school-wide Lesson Study effort focused on building TTP classroom routines.
