Teaching Through Problemsolving
In Teaching Through Problemsolving (TTP), students develop each new mathematical concept by solving a problem that illuminates it.
Each TTP lesson is carefully planned as an individual lesson, and also as part of a cohesive unit in which each lesson builds on prior learning. TTP lessons are designed to build students’ mathematical practices and habits of mind and also specific mathematical knowledge.
